Company Details

FreddyMatch was born in 2017 when Roxane Foulser- Piggott and Gary Bowman set up the Freddy Bear Foundation in loving memory of their son Frederick Donaldson Imrie Bowman, who died aged 16 days on 8th June 2017. After Freddy passed away, they both wanted to do some volunteering that utilised their skills, but found there were no easy ways of finding opportunities. FreddyMatch was created to solve that problem.

“The busier I’ve become with work and family, the harder I’ve found it to do any meaningful volunteering. FreddyMatch has helped me find interesting opportunities based on what I can do and when I can do it. The suggestions are great too, particularly the online ones where I can spend an hour or two helping a good cause. It’s a great initiative that’s really well executed.”
