SEEK Volunteer

Summary

SEEK Volunteer helps connect people to volunteering opportunities that enrich their communities, lives and careers.

Introduction

With more than 1.6 million visits each year, SEEK Volunteer helps you build your volunteer workforce faster at no cost.

SEEK Volunteer connects people with the right skills, experience and interests to organisations, with better matches to volunteer opportunities.

  • Building on SEEK’s job platform expertise, the easy-to-use SEEK Volunteer portal lets organisations post opportunity quickly and easily. You can advertise opportunities by volunteer category and type, select multiple locations, and advertise online or remote opportunities.

  • SEEK Volunteer is helping organisations spend less time hunting for new ways to find volunteers, knowing that their opportunities will reach a highly targeted audience of people searching online for their next volunteer experience.

  • SEEK has invested in SEEK Volunteer since 2000 when it launched in Australia. This makes SEEK Volunteer one of the longest standing social impact investments of a technology company in Australia.

  • SEEK Volunteer is a free online source of volunteer opportunities and is the preferred destination for those who want to volunteer. We make it easy for people to connect to the right opportunity, for a cause they care about, in a location that is convenient to them.

Accessibility

Did you know that only 3% of the world’s websites are accessible to people with a disability? SEEK Volunteer strives to create experiences that are accessible and welcoming for everyone. Read more about their commitment to accessibility here: https://www.volunteer.com.au/accessibility

Integrations

We are currently in discussions with various volunteer management systems with the intention to integrate with them to reduce the administration burden of volunteer managers. By integrating we hope to a) reduce double posting of opportunities and b) pass application details of a volunteer directly into the VIO’s volunteer management system.
