This research report explores how giving and volunteering are understood and practiced within culturally and linguistically diverse communities and First Nations communities. It presents insights into community?led approaches to giving and volunteering, highlighting cultural values, motivations and informal practices that may not align with mainstream volunteering models and discusses barriers and enablers to engagement with formal volunteering systems.
